Light, composition, and focus

This is my photo for the Light, composition and focus assignment.For this assignment we had to use the grid that is used for composition of photos we also had to use focus which would be the attention being drawn to one object and the background sort of blurry. There also had to be lighting of some sort incorporated.This is and example of comp, focus and light because the dog is in the left and center of the photo. The focus is on the dog and the background becomes blurry. for lighting there are strips of lighting on the dogs face highlighting the coloring of the dog.

line

This is my photo for the line assignment. this photo represents line because the light from the sun casts a shadow on the pole creating a line shadow. The shadow catches the eye and leads up to the sun.

Shape Photo

This is my shape photo. This represents shape because the lines of the leaf hitting the edge of the photo create shapes similar to rectangles.

Form Photo

This photo represents form because the light reflecting through the water droplets gives them dimension and the light coming through the flower gives the color depth .

Analogous color photo

This is my analogous photo. I took this photo on a run but what makes it analogous is the colors in the photo are close to each other on the color wheel. So the blue in the sky is right next to the green of the grass on the color wheel.

Space photo

This is my space photo. I chose this photo because the space directs your eye directly to the person sitting on the pillars. It also gives a cool effect with the bolts sticking up it looks like she is standing on them.

Portrait Photo

This is one of my friends. I chose this photo as ,y portrait photo because I thought that it captures her personality amazingly. It also kind of leaves you asking what is on the other side of the camera that is making her laugh so much.The only thing I would take into consideration next time is the rule of thirds and make her more of the focus rather than the milkshake in front of her.

Primary color photo

I chose this as my primary color photo because it show cases 2 of the major colors green and blue. The blue from the sky and the green from the trees.

Just a pop of purple

I saw this cluster of flowers on the side of a trail i was hiking and they were only in this spot. The colors were so vibrant i thought that it would look really nice in a photo. The thing i wold do neat time is i would use and apply the rule of thirds . It´s a rule that i am still working on applying in my photos.

Nostalgia

This photo was from one of my favorite beaches ever. I really liked how the colors looked together and how the water was sort of rolling up and over the log. I also like the photo conveys a sort of calming feeling when you look at it. This photo gives me nostalgia because when ever me and my family go to Lake Tahoe we always visit this beach. I have so many amazing memories from there.

Hidden Gems

My family pulled off to the side of the road on our way up to Lake Tahoe and we saw this waterfall kind of thing so I decided it would make an amazing photo. I would in the future take a picture to make it seem like the water is coming directly towards you.

Secret Sunset

Here is a photo I took off of a pier in Lake Tahoe. Its from a small not really popular beach down the street from my Grandma´s house. Its the same beach from many of my other photos.

Beyond the edge

This photo I took visiting the beach at Pigeon Point. The wood you see was a fence surrounding a look out point right over this cluster of rocks. It was very windy this day so I thought this would make aninteresting photo.
